Rachelle Kuramoto is a brand strategist, writer, and research professional. She created Watchword to help organizations uncover and articulate what makes them distinctive and sustainable.
For almost two decades, Rachelle has collaborated with some of the most respected and innovative companies in the world. Her career began in the late 1990s in technology practice of Ogilvy Public Relations, where she helped known and startup companies to build their online brands. Since then, she has supported the brand, content, and research needs of technology, financial, media, healthcare, education, transportation, energy, and healthcare companies.
Rachelle has had the opportunity to support enterprise brands like Cox, Paymetric, Southwire and SWIFT Transportation, notable startups like Magic Leap, Roadie and Greenlight Card, and not-for-profits such as Mercy Care Atlanta, Bearings Bike Shop, and The Drake House. Rachelle also regularly partners with some of the most brilliant agencies in Atlanta.
When she’s not hard at work, she tries to get her own blog written and speaks about the power of strategic messaging and narrative. Rachelle is an active volunteer who serves on the boards of the Alliance Theater and 48in48. She’s a competitive marathoner, adventurous cook, mom of two (and a dog), and wife to a fellow entrepreneur.
